Although a distinction between 'revaluating' and 'transvaluating' is loosely upheld, and indeed posited in the title, of this mature volume of aphoristic philosophy by John O'Loughlin, it is not certain that the author was thoroughly clear in his mind about the phenomenal/noumenal distinction that actually characterizes or denotes these two terms, but even if further work was necessary in subsequent texts for him to become clear about this, the project in question is of no mean significance in its awareness of different approaches to philosophy from the standpoint of sensibility, thereby transcending any Nietzschean ambiguity or phenomenal reductionism favouring the concept of 'revaluations'.
