Description:

THE DIALECTICS OF SYNTHETIC ATTRACTION picks up from where 'The Classless Solution' (2004) left off, and does so in considerably more detail and with greater confidence in the veracity of its contentions, with a consequence that we have, for the first time, a post-Marxian and even supra-Marxist dialectics which do more justice to the historical process than Marx, with his narrowly economic take on things, ever did. Not a work to be underestimated!

Effectively the first of a loose trilogy of titles concerned with dialectics, this volume of aphoristic philosophy takes a broader and deeper view of the historical process than does Marxian dialectics, with a consequence that one is left with a sense that there is more at stake in the unfolding of such a process than a simple dichotomy between action and reaction would allow, not least the part played by attraction in the overall alternation between devolutionary and evolutionary factors.
