If you want to pun Arthur Koestler's 'Janus - A Summing Up', then this is probably the best way to go about it, and in this project John O'Loughlin has brought some thirty years of philosophizing to a summational head, so to speak, with some refinements and extensions of existing theories still very much a part of his 'evaluating and revaluating' approach to philosophy. In a sense, thinking only stops when the thinker stops thinking, but even if this work does not have the last say on every subject of interest to the author it proves that a systematic approach to thought can lead to conclusive results.
