An Alternative Burns Supper commemorates in 2009 the 250th Anniversary of the death and life of Robert Burns in music, original verse, song, and satire. It gently looks at and re-presents the institution of the Scottish Burns Supper in a modern context. Burns was an incredible activist that made a stand against the despot and the hypocrite – so I present what he would probably be saying to us in the 21st Century.
