A compilation of short soundtracks which originally accompanied a now lost series of Freeformfreakout Organisation films. Rumour has it that the films are actually buried under a mound of coffee cups and butter shortbread biscuit wrappers in the FFFO Offices. The five, short 'MFF' pieces are complimented by the impossibly long (52mins) Test Piece Symphony, a composition consisiting of tests, try-outs, rehearsal pieces and experiments all scraped up from the studio floor and spliced together. Dark brooding and intense, the haunting Test Piece Symphony is the perfect antidote to those moments of hope and optimism which can plague us all at times. (N.B. This CD contains an edited, circa 45 min version).
