For thirteen months musican Alfonso Llamas and artist Kristin Abraham traveled to all fifty states in the U.S. Abraham painted a canvas for each state, while Llamas wrote these songs. They called their adventure The Nomadic Project and used their art to symbolically connect the country. Armed with an acoustic guitar and laptop, Llamas composed this album as a response to their experiences while traveling. Most of the songs were recorded in hotel rooms, along the way.
