The story of a nation, who through their own unrighteousness, bring themselves to a state of anarchy. And in this forlorn state they merit the wrath of God. They are invaded, slaughtered and tormented with plagues until no one remains in the city. Just as in the Book of Isaiah, this also is the story of the city of Jerusalem, but in about 600 B.C. and as told by the prophet Jeremiah. I retell this story here in my own words.
