Hardcover-Edition: 55 Paraphrases to work numbers 290, 294, 402, 422, 639. Nr. 290 is a drawing made as poster for the One-Man-Show "Werner Stürenburg" at Leopold-Hoesch-Museum (Germany) in February 1983. The first paraphrases were made towards the end of that year. The second series came from the poster for the second exhibition which showed painting No. 294. The first uses the whole poster, the others only the reproduction. There is only one paraphase to painting No. 402 stemming from a photocopy. Drawing 422 was used for another poster to an exhibition. The paraphrases were made on photocopies of the original. No. 639 is a woodcut printed as an edition of 100 on hand-made paper. Each print was finihed individually with water colors by the artist. 16 of these are shown here.
