The original piano solo, from the opening 2005 session for Michael Guy's CD: "August Ocean Overture" released Dec. 2007. This was the earlier takes on his Digital Grand, which unlike his "SeaBreeze in G" recorded July 2007, was less processed, a little dry. Yet he was in fine, Classical form. Has an improvised, almost "Moonlight Sonata" sound put into modern, jazz idiom. The left hand is serene--basic arpeggio figures over a Majestic, Oceanic melody. It builds intensity to end a piano solo by a master improvisor. Time = 2:50
