This exotic and upbeat track was composed for a mixed ensemble and I composed it based on the Indian mode, Rag Darbari. It is in the unusual time signature of 7/8, with handclap and sleighbell percussion, which gives it a "Dave Brubeck meets belly dances in Hungary at a violin festival" kind of feel. It features sitar, flute and sarangi as main instruments. Fun it is, catchy it is, exotic it is....
