River Poem is an inner quest journal, written during 2004 to 2005. I was living in the high mountains of Northern New Mexico in a small adobe-wood bark covered cabin, next to a river. Struggling with question re my purpose and place in life, I often walked by the river, communed with nature, and tried to still my anxious heart and mind.
Like the river, life moves on and I am learning to embrace, rather than resist that movement, so that I too, move with life, rather than struggling with, or against it.
I hope you will read and be encouraged in your own quest for meaning.
