Five miniatures for piano solo. Duration: ca. 6:00. A fun suite of little piano pieces with a variety of character. Includes a Baroque minuet, a 12 tone etude, a drunken dance, and more. Character is extremely important with these pieces. There is little in this set that can be described as "subtle" and the performer should play on that. I encourage you to keep the following in mind - pretentious, mocking, silly, bi polar, sarcastic, pompous, manic. Assign them where you will. The score is dedicated to composer Joe Johnson who first performed it in Boston University's Marsh Chapel April 30, 2001.
