Phil Condax had lunch with us at RIT on Wednesday, October 24. Phil worked at the George Eastman House for many years going back to the time of Beaumont Newhall. He is an old friend of Owen Butler. They have known each other since the 1960s. After lunch we retired to my office where Phil and Owen took turns telling stories and expressing ideas about photography and life. As they were talking I snapped this small collection of photos.
