The author has always been interested in the relationships in some predators and prey. Especially those of her own "Metazoica" site. This book is a very comical look at a relationship between a Tachypus (Tack-ee-pus) racer and a Deinognathus (Dy-no-na-thus) predator in the South American desert of 60 million years after man. This predator soon learns that trying to catch an animal that can sprint off at a speed faster than most cars is not easy. He has one problem after another after having one bad idea after another.
