These two concert arias were composed by John Carbon in 1990 at the request of baritone Stephen Kalm. Together they form a mini opera based Cyrano de Bergerac by Rostand. Translated by Sarah White, Cyrano's profession of love followed by a comic catalogue aria about his nose make this a brilliant showcase for baritone.
