I'm a Research Associate in the field of Child Development. I have a continuing program of research in the laboratory and in the field. I am working for my Masters and already have two credits and hopefully will be adding another one soon. Of course, the job is one of the most demanding in the humanities and I often work 14 hours a day But the job is more challenging than most run-of-the-mill careers and the rewards are in satisfaction rather than just money. . .
Motherhood...what a glorious career.
Besides writing my poems, drawing my doodles and mazes, I am a stay at home mom and I have a Home Based Business. I love it. I am hoping to have my Poem and Maze book published soon. It takes quite awhile to get all those mazes drawn. But I love it. My husband and kids are very supportive of me.
My husband is also publishing a book ~ BE SURE TO GET A COPY!!!! It is a really GREAT book.
I first discovered I could draw mazes one day when I was in geometry class my sophmore year of high school. I made it to class early, I was bored so I started "doodling" before I knew it, my teacher was tapping me on the arm and asked me if I wanted to go to lunch or just sit there. I did not even realize class was over. She picked up the maze and said since it was "geometry" related she would give me credit for the day but that she never wanted to see me doing that again in class - - then she asked if she could keep it because she liked it. It hung on the wall of the classroom the rest of the year.
I had a binder full of them done once but they were ruined during one of my moves. Also they were in color but I was told that they would not print well when they were done in color and to do them in black and white, which is one reason it takes me a bit longer to do them. I get bored with black and white and prefer color. But I still love drawing them.
