A Review of House Undara

There are so many books and stories in the fantasy genre that it can be hard to pick one author over another. House Undara in particular wasn’t a familiar title or author to me but the cover caught my eye and then the description sucked me in. From the first line on, I was gripped and unable to put the title down.

The first person format made it a smooth and swift read. The characters are colorful and interesting and there’s a true sense of time in this world. It feels old and the ominous sense of the buildings and the destinies of the characters can be moving. Visuals are harsh and sometimes gory but not tasteless. I never felt that something was unnecessary.

I don’t want to give away the plot but this book was a sound and fun read. Anyone who likes fantasy would appreciate and enjoy this book. I hope to see many sequels in the future of this promising author. Kudos!
