Just a few months shy of her 50th year on the planet, Doris published her first book, SUNLIGHT SKITTERING, through Lulu.com, and is excited about the creative freedoms and possibilities offered by on-demand publishing and internet communication. A second book, WORD SPLASH (available in full color and also in a black & white edition), was published in April 2005.
Both collections of poetry contain original art work by Doris, who received a B.S. degree in Art Education from Nazareth College of Rochester.
Creative writing and visual arts have been lifelong passions for Doris, who works as an office manager for a small, non-profit human services agency and lives in upstate NY with her partner.
