It is our pleasure to bring you the premier edition of Siddur Mesorat Moshe, the first prayerbook of its kind to be printed and bound.
Arranged according to the original liturgical rite of the Jewish people since the times of the Sanhedrin in Jerusalem, the text (nusach) and arrangement (seder) of Siddur Mesorat Moshe predates the various liturgies of the Oriental, Sephardic, and Ashkenazic communities of the Diaspora.
The core text of Siddur Mesorat Moshe was drawn from the liturgical arrangement found in the legal code of our teacher and master Moses b. Maimon (Maimonides), in the appendix entitled "Arrangement of the Prayer" of the second book of the Mishneh Torah, Sefer Ahavah. As is known, Maimonides was a scholar, scientist, historian, and researcher par excellence, and was able to successfully determine and record the original liturgy of the Jewish people as it was preserved by the Jewish-Yemenite community of his era.
Therefore, Siddur Mesorat Moshe contains only those prayers and blessings which were originally formulated by the central court of Israel and/or were universally accepted by all Jews at one point in time. It does not contain the various liturgical poems (piyutim), textual changes, and ritual additions that were subsequently instituted by the respective communities of the Diaspora; rather, it contains the essence of the prayers of the Jewish people.
Whether you are a newly practicing Jew or a long-time participant in a religious Jewish community, Siddur Mesorat Moshe is an invaluable tool in developing and refining your service to God (avodat HaShem).

The Naked Crowd
Thousands of years ago, the Jewish nation became what Nobel laureate Elias Canetti called a "naked crowd"; a society built on transparency and inclusiveness, impervious to the attempts of would-be tyrants to control the "crowd" through mind-games, linguistic manipulation, and mass hysteria. While the Jewish people have, over the course of history, occasionally lost touch with this foundation of their society, they have never lost the dream of a truly free society for all.
In this book, José Faur articulates the essence of the Jewish alternative to the cunning societies of world history.

Siddur Mesorath Moshe
A prayerbook arranged according to the original liturgical rite as formulated by the Sanhedrin of Israel (may it soon be re-established), and as found by our teacher, Rabbeinu Moses the son of Maimon (Maimonides).
Included in this prayerbook are those prayers which it is obligatory for every able, adult Jew to say during weekdays, on Sabbaths, and on festival days. This prayerbook does not include the various liturgical poems and oft-conflicting ritual additions formulated by various communities of the Jewish Diaspora over the centuries.
