A few words from the author...

This tactical guide is the result of the better part of six months worth of writing, illustrating, and general effort. It was created for the benefit of the tactical gaming community as a whole, but is specifically focused on tactics relevant to the gaming group that I run - Shack Tactical - and the game that we play, ArmA: Combat Operations. I have presented it freely on my website since April of 2007, and will continue to offer it freely to any who would like to view it and learn from it.


The Print Version

This print version of the guide is intended for those who would like a more professionally laid-out hard copy of it, or would like to support my work. It is a tremendous honor to me to see people spend their hard-earned money on something I created, and I know that the quality of the print version - both from Lulu.com's side, from the content side, and from the special print version layout (courtesy of Mofo8) side - is most definitely worth the money.


If you choose to purchase a copy, I am sure that you will enjoy it. Mofo8 did a superb job of laying out the PDF version. In the source material I went to great lengths to present only game-relevant "TTP" (tactics, techniques, and procedures), and I think the result is extremely valuable for anyone interested in realistic tactical gameplay.


I do not believe that you can find a finer tactical reference for realistic first-person combined-arms wargaming anywhere else on the internet, and I'm proud to be able to present this in print with Bohemia Interactive's blessing.
