Lulu has partnered with print vendors for printing books on demand when orders are placed by booksellers such as Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, independent stores and libraries. The printer used is determined by which distribution channel places the order. Even if you buy a distribution service for your book, you can still sell that same book through Lulu. There are some restrictions, however, in the printing specifications to reach these distribution channels.

Once your book is eligible for Distribution, there are also some Mandatory Requirements for Distribution.
