Google Book Search (Beta) is a free marketing tool that puts your book content in Google's search results. Google scans the full text of participating books and when a user clicks on a book search result, they are taken to a Google-hosted web page displaying the scanned image of the relevant page from the book and links to buy the book from online retailers. As a benefit of using Google Book Search through Lulu, the first link will bring your customers directly to your content on Lulu. Here you have the most control of the message or description of your book.

How to add a Lulu book to Google Book Search

1. Purchase a distribution service for a book.
2. Click the Google Book Search link now next to that book's title in the Project List.
3. The free Google Book Search listing option is in the shopping cart.
4. Check out.
5. The Book will show up on Google Book Search after 2 months.

Which books can be submitted to Google Book Search?

Only books with a distribution service can be submitted to Google Book Search.

How much of a book will users be able to view?

Books submitted through Lulu are limited to 20% accessible to any given user during a 30-day period. Google also offers a number of additional security features. More information.

How long will it take for a title to be listed in Google Book Search?

It takes at least 2 months for your title to be listed in Google Book Search.

Does Lulu make money from my Google Book Search listing?

Google is sharing contextual ad revenue with content partners and publishers.
