In a post-industrial cyberpunk future in which humans have been rendered obsolete by robot labor, Myron Makere is the wunderkind scientist known as the Fabricari – the architect and creator of the machine men that enforce the new world order. However, Makere’s mechanical children have little respect for their “father.” The same cyborgs and robots he designed for a quick dollar have turned against him. Surplus: A Book of Drawings
This book collects the drawings and sketches by Steve "Fabricari" Harrison from 2006-2007. Over the last two years, Steve has loosened up both creatively and stylistically. Moving past strictly science fiction themes, he's started drawing from assorted genres such as Western, Victorian and Pre-Columbian. Many of these drawings were requests taken while drawing live on a web-cam propped up, giving the viewer an artist's-eye-view of the art as it was created.
