The Five Independent Thinkers are David Gammel, Jeff De Cagna, Jamie Notter, Mickie Rops and Amy Smith. All five of us have been working in and consulting to the association community for many years, and we each currently run consulting firms, focused on different areas of expertise. We came together in 2005 out of a shared hope—and concern—for associations and the future of the association community.
