2007 Nov 25 When I was 15 I had a crush on one of my friend's older brother. We dated for a minute when I was in high school but I was 15 and he was in college, not really meant to be.... As any 15 year old I took it more seriously than he did, which at the time was devastating. 3 years later we run into each other again, and I looking hot and 18 we started dating again, again it was only a minute and well this time I was dating other people and I didn't really return his calls... Over the years we would run into each other and laugh about our dating attempts or the time his dad caught us making out. Shoot to Thanksgiving when an article of me and the book came out in the paper. My good friend said they were at dinner and her husband came in with the article and everyone was looking at it, she said her brother turned pail and got really quiet. Now he is married with 2 children and very happy, but the thought that I might mention him in the book scared the crap out of him. He waited till his wife left the room and whispered to his sister, "I am not in the book, am I?" Guilty conscious? She was laughing her butt off, "NO"! She of course forgot we even dated, because it wasn't really that significant and it was normal HS drama. To all the guys I dated in HS, don't worry you aren't in the book! But thinking of your faces when you saw the article about the book is a pretty funny thought of your instant panic! Men: Think before you don't treat a girl right, she might write a book about it!
2007 Nov 20 Since my radio debut, I have gotten a lot of interesting fan letters and stories of dating. So the guys are coming out of the wood work with their crazy chick stories.
So this guy e-mails me the story of going out with a hot chick. Hot is good. He met her on my space. So he had made plans to take her to a comedy club.He showed up at her house and was surprised at how beautiful she was. Even more than her pictures showed. It was about 45 minutes from her house to the comedy club. They had wonderful conversation. He made the mistake of thinking how great the date was going. So we get to the club and the show was pretty good. After the show she came back and said that she had met some wonderful people and they invited them to go to a dance club with them. She at this point, had drank three pitchers of beer and was slurring her speech. In a nice way he told her that he think that it was a good idea to go to the dance club and that he thought we should maybe do it the next date. She started whining real loud saying "I want to go dancing". People around them at other tables was starting to turn and look as she was being loud. In a very low, calm and gentle voice he said,"we are making a scene can we talk about this after we leave?" She then slammed her beer mug down on the table real loud and said in very loud and angry voice, "I will find my own ride home,I Am going dancing". She then got up and started to walk to the other side of the room where the other couple was at.The other couple was a girl and three guys. I guess that makes them more than a couple. Anyway, he caught up to her and I grabbed her arm in a VERY GENTLE way and said, " I Am not leaving you here. If he would have left her there, he would have felt like a jerk for days. At this point he had two guys give me a nice shove on my chest and say, "Take a f*ckin hint pal,she aint going with you". It was almost like a damn movie. Finally,a bouncer and a waitress talked her into going with me. When she agreed she turned and started walking thru the club stomping her her feet real hard like a little kid. When he got to the car she started crying say that she was sorry for acting like that. She said that started drinking because she was nervous and she hadn't been on a date in five years. She then told him that her husband had just left her for another guy two weeks ago. He got her home and even got her tucked into bed. He resisted her trying to seduce him as she was just too damn drunk. He got home and the next morning she actually sent him an email saying that we shouldn't date any more because she liked to dance and he didn't. He spent $70,had a miserable time, almost got his ass kicked because she was immature and a drunk. Then she dumped him. He had no desire to see her anymore but it was the whole point of it. He would like have at least had an "I'm sorry" from her.
Okay note to men: Newly separated women are crazy! Rather they were left for a man, woman or dog or if they left themselves. They are an emotional wreck, they tend to drink a lot, have a lot a fun but they are emotionally unstable and you hang with them at your own risk.

2007 Nov 18 I have gotten marriage proposals before, or guys talk about it. My guess is they think that is what you want to hear. A girl was telling me this story last night.
She was newly divorced and was working with a mortgage broker to fix her credit so she could buy a house. She finally closed on the house and they went to a restaurant to celebrate. He got down on one knee in the restaurant and had a huge ring, she sat there in shock and managed to get out "you don't even know me". Prior to they hadn't even dated, held hands, he never even touched her leg by accident. Everyone in the restaurant was looking at them. They left, and of course he had driven so they had the uncomfortable car ride back to her car. She had no idea that he had feelings for her like that, let alone would consider asking her to marry him.
I know I have been guilty of being oblivious to people's feelings before, thinking they were a friend and they had other intentions. The age old question of can guys and girls be friends?
2007 Nov 14 So I was on 700 WLW last night with Scott Sloan. That was so much fun. The guys out there finally spoke out about crazy chicks. This one guy called and said he had a girl that had MPD? We were all looking at each other in the studio like what is that, some strange form of herpes? He said it's Multiple Personality Disorder and one of her three personalities started stalking him. HE WINS!! You can check out the podcast of the interview on WLW.... http://www.700wlw.com/cc-common/podcast/single_podcast.html?podcast=scott_sloan.xml Caption is Dating in Cincy sucks

I was talking to a friend from work today, she is single and great. We were trading war stories about our dating experiences. As we were laughing about the freaks that are out there, she is said something funny, why are we so great and all the men are crazy?
So, I challenge the men out there to give me there side of the story. Do you have a crazy chick story? Let me hear it.
2007 Oct 30 So, the soft rollout of the book is going well, as promised I am going to tell you a bad dating story that was told to me by a dear friend.
A friend of mine got invited to go on a motorcycle ride for charity. During these rides they stop at different restaurants or bars on the route. They stopped at one particular spot, and her date said he really had to go to the restroom, she said he was " wiggling around like a kindergartner". The line to the men's restroom was really long given its mostly men on these rides. He started complaining, he didn't think he could hold it, she told him just to go in the woods, apparently he didn't have to go #1. She said he goes into the bathroom comes out and is walking really funny, he was wearing chaps over his jeans, he asked her to look to see if he got anything on the back of his pants. Yep!! He told her he sharred?> in his pants and threw his underwear away. She had to get on the back of the motorcycle smelling that the rest of the way. That was there only date. What would you do? Get back on the bike? I think I might of passed on the ride home, called a friend, because there is no way you could top that date.
Keep the stories coming, some people live for this stuff!!
