The first novella in the Errand Boy Philosopher series entitled Postmodern Artist In Exile begins a social and philosophical mediation that would in the end take three years to complete. Here we find a young writer beginning to struggle with the foundations of the world in which he lives. Using short stories as well as philosophical and sociological ideals an honest form of art is depicted with the subjective eyes. Short stories discuss such concepts as the wandering mind, impoverishment, and the conflict with cynicism, as well as life and death. The following two sections search for humanistic and artistic expression in the conflicted world in which the United States is engulfed within. Absurdities within the mediated generation and many of the internalized existential, postmodern, and social dilemmas that conflict not just the writer and the artist but also threaten to further deteriorate our civilizations progress are touched upon within
Postmodern Artist In Exile.

The Absurd Within The Desert

The continuation of the Errand Boy Philosopher Series follows the Author of Post Modern Artist In Exile struggling with the Existential and subjective contradictions that are observed within the confines of a thought provoking philosophical meditation. The Absurd within the Desert is found between dreaming and the waking social life. It is uncovered by observing the self with the eyes that reflect in the mirror. Conflicted by the narcissistic obstacle of cynicism the sociological and philosophical critical tools are implemented in order to uncover a type of pragmatic peace.

Time Lapse Paradox

In Postmodern Artist in Exile we found a young artist using short metaphorical stories and essays in order to paint the confusion he found himself within. With the follow up literary device entitled: The Absurd within the Desert, the philosophical and critical subjective meditation was on display in full force.
