Hi there
Yes I promote via postcards which is a brilliant way of getting information out to everyone at the cost of a stamp! I sent hunderds off to every school in Scotland, inviting them to buy the book for their library! its woeked a treat and became 4th on lulus best sleler list during October...Well worth the effort at times...
also get your books on www.goodreads.com also brill

Just like any other author who has become published, advertising and book tours are a necessity. It's easy to schedule a book signing in your local hastings, books-a-million, etc. They will advertise two weeks prior to the event for you by putting flyers in all of the customer's shopping bags. They provide a table, you provide the books and dress up really nice. Do this in every major city in the country and schedule an Adwords to run linked to your site and watch the money roll in.
