New Book Released

[Asif Barkhiya]

'Asif Barkhiya'—that's my name. Born in Secunderabad, India, I am proud to be an Indian, and an old student of St. Patrick's High School, Secunderabad, India.

It was during my schooling period that I developed an inclination for poetry. Perhaps, reading through my collection of poems one wishes that one knew more about me than I am a young man, and a non-academic who made a humble beginning earning my living as a footwear salesman, and currently cherishes my successful career working as a secretary in a pharmaceutical company.

Recently, I got my poetry volume "Glimpses of Insight" published. The imagery used in the poems reveals the creativity of a young poetic soul. The book is an awe-inspiring collection of poems, in a style quite reminiscent of the Elizabethean dialect. From deep within arises a passion for God, for truth and a recognition that all of us are responsible for our lives and the choices we make.

Short, straightforward, the poems collected here, both thematically and stylistically sound neo-classical. They take us to a world that we have left behind, that is to say they make us look at our own world from a different perspective, and deserve a place in the literature of a new generation.

[Isiah Hurts]

Isiah Hurts is set to release a cook book called Isiah Favorite Treat’s on June 24, 2009.

Isiah Favorite Treat’s will feature some of your favorite treats. Like Chocolate Pie, Banana Pudding, and Peach Pie.

Isiah Hurts stated that he is excited about releasing his cook book. Because he wants to get teenagers more involved in cooking. Isiah also has stated that everybody who was involved in the making of his cook book. Can not wait until it comes out either.
