first book

Hi all,

I've been a member of this group for about 2 years, I think. I joined when I started editing a memoir for a former teacher. He's very particular and there have been many revisions.

Then, I got the bright idea to include photos. That took awhile. He's in Wyoming. I'm in Maryland. I'm still learning about documents, photos, etc. And definitely still learning about Lulu. He's still learning about attaching things to emails.

Last night.....ta dah.....I sent the book in to be published. What a good feeling.

Karen, our moderator, was very helpful when I was getting started. Thank you, Karen!

I love to read memoirs. Now I have part "ownership" of one. I'll try to do something with my Dad's stories next. Not a memoir exactly, but a collection of interesting stories.
