Just wanted to introduce myself: Lee Balan, by name. I just got my ISBN number which makes me my own publisher, "Blood Soup Books." I'm about to put my first book on Lulu, "Alien Journal." It is gay, bi, sci-fi, and speculative fiction: short stories and a novella - all interrelated by theme and characters. I've been a writer for most of my life - I'm also a visual artist. I'm gay. I'm also a poet and have given several readings in California (my home) -- I believe my book is narrative poetry -- a time travel novel that is based on my experience as a young dude coming out in San Francisco in 1969 and beyond. It is reality disguised as surrealism. I should be getting the final proof this week and then I can promote the book and start the process of selling. I may need lots of advice and help. Thanks.
