Okay. I think this might be fun for any one with a bit of free time on their hands. So here's the scenario. Hollywood calls you and says they want to adapt your book into a film. What would you want it be like? Can you picture the photography style? The director you would want? Or how about the actors in the film? So briefly stated what your book is about and say how you would like it adapted.

I'll go first. Book 1: Netherworld

It's about a man who was framed before he died, and finds his self trapped on earth in this ghostworld where he is on the run from hell, and not accepted by heavem. He must unravel a conspiracy behind his death and the possible destruction of mankind to save his very soul.

Style: Like in the book where everything was in the Netherworld is black and whit except for anything related to angels and demons. I would like this movie to be film in that style where it's a little bit similar to sin city.

Main character Leon: Orlando Bloom: basically because he is a rich pretty boy who has never fought a fight in his life. And I felt he would fit.

2nd main character: Lauren : Anne Hathaway with red hair.

Elijah: The dark evil angel toward the end: Johnny Depp

Director: Not sure. I want to say the guy who made I Robot.

2nd Book: House of The Rising Sun

A story about a woman cop who witnesses her husband alive again and investigates it only to find she falls head first into a world where vampires are real.

Style: nothing special

Main character K.T.: Kate Beckinsale
2nMain character Brad Winslow: Justin Long
Head Vampire: I don't know his name but hes on the scare tactics reality show. He looks kind of nice, but at can look crazy in momments notice.

Director: Same guy who made the 1980's Fright Night movies

Grandma Freedom is about a Grandmother and a Granddaugher who start an underground rail road of sorts while protesting the Viet Nam war with their friends.

I would love to have Meryl Streep play Grandma Freedom, or Carrie Fischer

As for Spirah, I think I would pick Alexis Bledell
Since my play calls for young people, I would not know who in hollywood might be good for the roles. Unfortunately I don't watch much television or go to movies much unless they involve Curious George and Elmo...have a two year old.

Would be really cool if Neil Young Jimmy Page Eric Clapton and Peter Buffett could collaborate on a sound track.
