Lulu Release 2008.2

The 2008.2 release was deployed to production at 3:25AM Eastern
time on Tuesday March 18th, 2008.

Here are the highlights:

1. Commerce
-Lowered price for revising a project with distribution
-New prices are 49.95 USD, 39.95 EUR, 28.95 GBP

2. Marketplace
-Home page now has featured content and a more prominent link to the
Lulu marketplace where readers can browse through the titles available on Lulu.com
-The Buy page has been completely overhauled with more featured
content, information on interesting offerings, and an easier to use category
list in the left column

3. Services
-New Lulu Services
-On the new Services tab, authors can now purchase services packages
to get assistance with various steps in the self-publishing process

4. Lulu Studio
-Cherry Blossom Festival theme added to the Lulu Studio products

Thanks for the updates. I heard from the lulu technology staff that whole book previews would be available on March 11. I still can't get my book On Being a [insert expletive]: Unkind Deeds and Cover-Ups in Everyday Life uploaded for a whole book preview.

So you have any updates?

Thanks for all the updates. I heard from the staff that I can no longer upload any changes to my photobook that I created in the old wizard format. I don't see where you changed your policy from Sep '07 when you stated in Release 22.0, and I quote,

" Lulu Studio (TM) will immediately replace our current photo book tool
for new projects. Users who have photo books created in our current
photobook tool will still be able to edit them in the current photo
book tool. "

The only answer I get is to recreate my book in the new Lulu Studio but I want to keep the beach background I have now, plus the thought of starting over with a new system to learn gives me the willies.

I only want to upload 2 more jpeg's to my photobook and am unable to. I made a change in Dec with no problems and since this is a private book for family only I don't see what the problem is. Can you help?
