This is the quite cruddy looking homepage for my current literary works.

They vary in style, but mainly occupy the cyberpunk sci-fi camp with a good measure of Zen philosophy thrown into the mix.

NEW RELEASE: Psytopia volume 2

'Psytopia: Crimson Harvest' and 'Memento Mori' are light hearted swords n' sorcery epics which are also something else entirely...

Written in a unique 'stanzas n' soundbites' style, these books can be enjoyed by bloggers and texters with short attention spans and those seeking something a bit different. I don't give a shit about grammatical correctness I'm afaid; I write how I speak, cos that's how people read. If easily offended by unorthodox grammer... well then you're a bit sad.

'Crimson Harvest' is the self-contained first part, involving a set of sword school students travelling across the Psytopian plates on an adventure which is also an assessment. Whether they come back alive or not will determine their final grade.

Memento Mori is part two, is the goth installment of the series, following on from the kind of indie-hippieish first part 'Crimson Harvest'. It's set in a highly industrialised corner of Psytopia cut off from the rest of the wide, wild world, and where everything is powerered by burning recycled dreams.

These are both available in 'mini' (standard) format and 'novel' (larger) size for those who can't read small print.

Part 3 out soon!

'Ascension' is a dark, twisted goth-cyberpunk journey of personal discovery in a strange, high-tech world.

I'm gradually adding parts of the Compendium series of short stories (episodes) which will eventually comprise 13 volumes.

Click on the links below for more information, and to read samples from the books.

Psytopia 1: Crimson Harvest: Mini edition
Set in a world with a technological past and an agricultural present, 'Psytopia' is a light hearted look at the 'swords and sorcery' genre from a completely new perspective. Set out on a journey across the shifting plateaus of the Psytopian arpeggio with a freaky collection of typical genre characters and witness their bizzare and imaginative world. The twists in 'Psytopia' will most likely break the heroes and their world in two as they start to realise that you can be taught everything you need to know... Then the wide, wild world comes along and tears your preconceptions apart at the seams. Full of vivid imagery, pop culture nods, sound-bites and written more like a Lonely Planet travel guide than a novel, this first part of the 'Psytopia' trilogy is a vibrant, rhythmic jaunt across the strangest lands imaginable and carves its place atop a sub-genre usually seen only in video games and manga. This is the MINI size, so it's pocket size! (As long as your pocket is thick...)

Ascension MINI
'Ascension' is a dark, twisted, punky, funky kind of sci-fi.

It's set on a world contained within a huge tower. Hell is at the bottom, Heaven at the top.

But as she ventures across the weird and wonderful surrealist landscapes of Babel with only her fiery determination to guide her, you way well find yourself asking the same questions of your life as she does of her's.

How much better does your life have to get before you give up pushing yourself and accept what you've got?

NOTE: This is the 'mini' pocket-sized travel edition! Not for those who like big, meaty print!

The Compendium: Book One
'The Compendium' is a collection of eighteen independent short stories which also form a part of a greater whole. The stories range in length and scope, but generally occupy the sci fi/supernatural camp. Book One contains Episode One: 'The Assignment', in which a group of university students are sent to examine some ancient Mayan ruins with a moody poltergeist in tow. To say 'but all is not what it seems' would be far too obvious, but obviously... it isn't. What is the Compendium anyway, and what is the event each story is counting down to?
