Description: I am interested in creating a group for persons who are interested on books for children with nature related themes with special emphasis given to illustrations. As it is a forum for authors and illustrators for children books, I would like the members to strictly follow the rules mentioned below. They are as follows,_ A. The subject matters(contents) must relate to what children like and what is suitable for them. Most of us whoever have written books for them,are surely aware what children are fond of,_the people and objects around them and nature as a whole ,seen in innocent light. Illustrations should be equally in the same manner. B. Since they are meant for children, the vernacular of it( english or any other languages, in which quite a few members submitted contents here)is advisable to be 'good', uncomplicated and suitable for reading by children. C. No member should submit contents and illustrations meant for adults(which happened at initial time with the forum)since it is meant for children, although the most of the authors and illustrators are grown ups and only a few children authors are there. Besides, though most of us the members are amateurs in our ventures to write and illustrate for children , I think quite a number of those among us are quite good at either writing or do illustions for children books. Therefore ,I would like to request the authors who will be interested, in reviewing the books of other member authors of the forum. Children are fond of natural objects, pictures and scenic beauty, therefore the forum makes special emphasis for nature related books, although others are equally welcome. It is hoped that artworks on nature will always delight children. Again,it will be very appreciating if good illustrators will come forward to do the illustrotions for those looking for the same. Those interested in being in a panel of illustrators should come forward with their names. Sometimes even a person known to a member, who is a good illustrator may help those looking for one. After all, it is the purpose of the forum and let us fulfill it. Here, I would like to mention a few of the rules and regulations to be followed by the members, which I believe will help the forum in managing its contents and eventually will make it a portal to be reckoned with. I shall be glad if everyone will co operate in the process. A. Every two and half months' period moderators will be changed(it was delayed for the time being for which I apologise). I have decided to frequent the rotation, as gladly there are increasing numbers of members in the forum and hopefully there would be chances for everyone to be moderator of it at least once. B. There will be four moderators at a time and I hope they will be aware of there role. Anyone not interested may inform the administrator . C.The job of the moderator will be to scrutinize the contents and inform the administrator if any objection will be there. The content will remain in the portal for five six days for everyone to see before being approved. Any moderator may approve it after the given period in absence of any objection or moderation by the administrator. D.The administrator may ask for opinion of the moderators over certain issues and therefore are requested to keep track of discussions and correspondence in the forum. E. Lastly I would like the moderators to keep in mind the following criteria for a good children book:- a. a good text, grammatically correct and proper punctuations followed is the need of a good book. b. The theme of a content should be meant basically for children. c. the more illustrations,the better. It is even better when it is nature related. D. In no way materials for adults be allowed. Any member putting up such content may even be removed from it.Any other contents meant for commercial purposes will not be encouraged. However, contents not fiction, but meant for knowledge acquiring can be a part of it. F. Contents submitted by the administrator and moderators will also have to remain in the portal for five- six days. It will be better when his or her content(s) will be approved by another moderator than by self. Lastly I would like to thank many members who take active part in discussions, making the portal alive. I also thank the leaving moderators for their part in the portal. After all we are all amateurs and enthusiasts and not paid for our jobs in the portal, and therefore I would like all members to make it a success. rdeebee56
