What is a Click?

A click is when someone clicks on your ad in the sponsored search results on Google, Yahoo! or MSN.  Your ad can be viewed over a million times, but is not considered a click until someone clicks on your ad to go the web site.

For example, if your book is about how to grow roses, your ad might show on a web site dedicated to growing roses. Below is an example of an ad on a web site.

What is a landing page?

A landing page is where you want your customers to go. It can be your Lulu storefront or your Lulu content page.  When someone clicks on your ad, they will be directly taken to your landing page.

Examples:

4Lulu content page

5 Lulu Storefront.

How long will it take to get my clicks?

From 1 to 90 days.

What do I need to do to get started?

Once you place an order we will send you an email asking:

  • Where do you want your customers to go (landing page)?
  • A few words that describe your book.

That is all we need to know to begin.

When will I know the program has started?

As soon as you respond to our initial email we start building your campaign. You should start seeing clicks to your landing page within 24 hours.

When will I know the program has ended?

We will send you a detailed report showing how many people visited your landing page each day as soon as your allotment of clicks has been delivered.

I have a web site, can I send my clicks there instead of to my Lulu page?

Yes. We can send your clicks to any landing page you want.

I bought my clicks, but I did not sell anything. What went wrong?

Our program does not guarantee sales, just potential customers who are interested in your books.

You can increase your chances of selling your book by doing the following:

  • Clearly describe your book. A longer description that accurately describes your book lets customers know exactly what your book is about.
  • Use a longer preview. Choose to show a number of pages in your book that will allow the potential customer to get a good idea of what you book is about. Start at the beginning of the first chapter and let them read a few pages to get hooked.

I have a few more questions, who can I contact?

Email the Lulu search marketing staff at marketingservices@lulu.com and we will get back to you quickly.
