Giang Hamai Matthews emigrated from Vietnam to the US in 1975, where she later married Richard Matthews. Giang currently teaches pre-school in Southern California, while Richard, a retired engineer, keeps busy with various internet and church activities.
Kim M. Tran is a Vietnamese born in Laos in 1972. He came to the U.S. in 1976. With a love of the arts since childhood, Kim graduated from San Jose State University in the llustration/Animation program. He is currently a freelance artist with great dedication to his work.

The Invisible Boy and the Foggy Island
The Invisible Boy series is intended for young children, but adults will also find the books entertaining. These beautifully illustrated adventures have been written to teach basic values such as perseverance, honesty, respect for elders, and generosity as part of an exciting story. Each book is a separate adventure in which the main character, Vu, overcomes various trials and learns valuable lessons. These stories take place in the Far East, and provide an alternative to traditional European or Arabian fairy tales.
Each book builds upon the last while introducing new characters, and giving more insight into what happened, and why. This series is sure to keep children of all ages entranced.
