Mr. James Riley Sr.
My poems go from sad and introspective rhymes about loneliness and love, to passion, to politics and war. The stories are fantastic, macabre and sexy tales of dark horror, usually with someone being greedy or desperate and finding themselves in situations they never thought possible sometimes with consequences they couldn't have dared to imagine.

Hi! I think my style is unique, especially in my novels. The only book I have out here in lulu-land is 'Daydreams & Nightmares' (which naturally I hope you'll all check out, see the link below my signature block), it's a collection of my poems (which I know are different) and dark, slightly erotic, short stories (a little like 'Tales From the Crypt'). Naturally I love creating the written word and have been trying to write a book since I was about eight (8)! I've acted a little and love stage, but a few months ago I was contacted by a Canadian producer who wanted to use one of the short stories in my book ('Daydreams & Nightmares'), 'Death' as a monologue in a play that they were putting on for the Edmonton Theatre Fringe Festival this year. We negotiated and they bought the rights and the play, written mainly by Don Nigro, the most published playwright in North America and myself. The reviews were the most gratifying feedback I have ever received as a writer! They called my part, 'a profound unraveling of emotions!' I am from Chicago, but have lived all over the world (Asia and Europe, as well as all over the US) and am now in a really wonderful place called San Angelo, Texas. I am raising my three (3) youngest children here with my wife, Cristina (she's from Mexico City, D.F. in Mexico). On the business side of things, the best luck I've had in selling product is with book signings at bookstores in West Texas. Please take a gander at my book and let me kniow what you think? If possible, please put a link to my book (http://www.lulu.com/content/210331) on your websites? Happy New Years! James E. F.
