I became a Christian in 1981 and have been studying the Bible for 25 years. I believe that the world is coming closer and closer to the end-time events that the Bible says are going to take place in the future. These prophetic signs were given by Jesus to His followers so that they would know when the end was near. I believe that recent world events are the prelude to the "labor pains" that Jesus said the world was going to experience. He stated that this time will be unlike any other period in history in that the world will be devastated by the end of it. This may not be a pleasant subject to talk about but if it is true then it is a subject that should be learned about.
