Welcome to my bookstore. The purpose of the book Milton S Hershey - His Deeds are His Monument, His Life is Our Inspiration, primarily, is to serve as research and educational material, with the overall objective of sharing knowledge of a great man and the philanthropy to which he and his wife gave birth. Its content is intended to provide facts as written and understood by those closest to the Hersheys’ philanthropy. This book was not written for commercial purposes. Rather, I view it as a noncommercial educational work. It is my sincere hope that this book will serve to educate those who desire to understand the Hersheys’ philanthropy, whether as a member of the School Family, a resident of the town of Hershey, Pennsylvania or one who has an interest in children’s homes or philanthropy in general.
