To Sing You Must Exhale
Bishop Joseph Perry (Chicago) says of this poetry: "Kathryn betrays her mystical gifts to reach conversation with God and his saints in ways every heart aspires. From the deep recesses of prayer comes her verse reaching for Heaven!" This volume, beautifully illustrated by Victor KyNam, a seminarian from Vietnam, wraps timeless truth in a post-modern voice that pulls you in - penetrating and on the edge. "Only a few poets have been Catholic. Deeply Catholic. 24/7 Catholic. And so we come to Kathryn Mulderink, a Catholic poet of extraordinary gifts... These poems mirror our pilgrim journey to the Cross. We begin from Hearts of Stone. Along the way we begin to reach out, Leaping with the Heart. As we approach the living Christ we sense the Beating Heart of God" (from Marty Barrack's Foreword). Stephen Hand says they portray "a depth, insight and knowledge that is increasingly rare." Carol O'Reilly says, "Awesome! This lady blesses the environment around her, weaving golden ageless beauty into others' days."

His Suffering and Ours
Our suffering is of many kinds – spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, psychological. It may be inflicted on us from outside ourselves, or be churned up from within us by forces we little understand.
This collection arranged around Christ’s Seven Last Words is meant to enliven the hope and peace that lead to joy in suffering and allow us to embrace our cross. It is a reminder of what is always certain: that God IS, that God is LOVE, that LOVE created us, that we ARE because God first loved us, that His love never wearies or wavers.
“We all long for such genuine helps and such sweet reminders as this…there is a profound truth in every other line, and the rest is you singing to Him. That is what you represent to others, Kathryn -- His unconditional love, along with your own. It comes through so beautifully.”

The Way of the Cross for Children
Originally written for my own children, these prayers for the 14 Stations of the Cross have been used by them for several Lenten seasons. Several families asked for copies and suggested that I get this into print, and Victor KyNam added new drawings that children can color as they learn anew how much God loves us - that He sent His only Son to save us from our sinfulness. I pray you find some good in them.
This book is spiral-bound to last through coloring and many Fridays.
