Mr. Kevin Trammel
Writing has always been, for me, a means to explore inner worlds and how inner awareness shapes one's experience in life. I find that the craft of writing is most fun when I discover a synergy of the fewest necessary words with a rhythmic and harmonious integration that still unveils beautiful inner experiences that are, in fact, ineffable. This isn't a contradiction because nothing is ever conveyed by words anyway! All meaning and truth exist inherently within the consciousness of the individual. Words spoken or written on the page trigger resonances with vibrant strings of essential reality that exist innately in each of us. For me, the point in writing is not to change the world, but to experience more fully the living, breathing, spontaneous reality of the world.
I was a physics student at Purdue for a few years, went to Appleton WI (Lawrence U) for a time, then to Indiana University (majored in philosophy) where I began more seriously to explore the melody and music of awareness (though I didn't at the time really know I was doing that). Disappointment in the ability of that academic sphere to help me find real Truth drove me to listen more deeply to softer, more powerful voices. Writing always served as a means to establish a finer connection with those subtle essences.

The Renaissance Bike and Kite Shop
I imagine myself sitting beside a half-built bicycle in my fantastical bike shop in France, writing these words as I contemplate the joys of that life, telling this story of rich thought on a typical day in that shop.
