As President of the Mid-Atlantic Clan Donnachaidh Society, I have been involved in the perpetuation and celebration of Celtic culture for many years and the novel "Fierce When Roused" is a result of this interest. This is by no means my only interest, however. I have written a dozen other novels in the Science Fiction and Mystery fields. It may happen that they, also, will find their way here.

Fierce When Roused
Ceann MacMurrough had been a kitchen slave in an English manor since he was four years old. When a party of border raiders inadvertantly set him free he ran north as his mother taught him. Once he judged himself far enough from the manor he stopped to hunt and in so doing met his first real Scotsman, Robert the Bruce. Joining the King's cause, he traveled further into the Highlands to meet the powerful chief Duncan the Stout and was entrusted to the care of Clan Donnachaidh, some of Bruce's strongest supporters and the best place for a boy to grow into a warrior. Over the years he and his clan followed the Bruce from Dal Ridh to Bannockburn, paying the price of Freedom and ensuring the future of Scotland.
