All the patterns can be used individually for dishcloths and washcloths or combined to make personalized afghans. Patterns will show up best using solid colors. For dishcloths I suggest 100% cotton. Baby washcloths would be great in a smaller cotton or cotton blend with smaller needles.
My patterns have appeared in the Dishcloth Hang-ups for 2007 and 2008 and the 2008 Knitting Pattern A Day Calendar.
