Latina Dixon

Author, Singer and Songerwriter Latina Dixon has aspired to write from an early age. This West Indian born Author is driven by the power of word. You can always find a message of hope within her stories and poems. At 26 she plans to create positve material that will entertain and teach this generation. Latina's first piece "The Seamount Family" is a drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. It focuses on first loves and the importance of family. Latina's Second piece "The Foreigner" is a ground breaking short story about a young boy who loses both his parents to tragedy and infidelity. Then having to face growing up in a hurry on his own. Eventually reuniting with his mother who ran away from a stable marriage to be with an American soilder. Putting his hurt aside he tries to rebuild a new relationship with his mother and sisters. Her 3rd book is a collection of poems and hopeful suggestion to get you through everyday life and relationships. It is entitled "Life's Trials" enjoy the creative side of Latina and watch out for "Breaking the Chains" a story based on a loving family that lived through a period of racism and hate. Two family's will be brought together through a series of tragic events. Get ready for it's release February 21, 2005.
