I have been writing poems for over 35 years now and I can tell you you can write a lot of poems in that time!!! My poetry covers all sorts of themes and happenings from the seasons of the year to love and family to fairies! When something inspires me I write about it, as simple as that. Now after all these years I have decided to share my poetry with the world. Hopefully everyone who picks up a copy of my book will find there is at least one poem in it that they enjoy, a poem that makes them smile or that they can relate to in some way. As for me I shall carry on writing and maybe in time there will be another book as well. For those who like to know a little about the person who wrote the book they are reading then I am a single woman in my early 50s. I have one grown up daughter. Apart from poetry I enjoy a variety of things including Family History, Reading, Football (watching not playing!), Scrapbooking, Jigsaws, Walking and Photography.
