Megan is a stay-at-home mom to two wonderful daughters. She is happily married. She and her family live in Texas. Megan is a surrogate mom to one little boy. She frequently volunteers at a local animal shelter (from whence came her two furry kids, Django and Billie). She is dedicated to inspiring literacy in children.

Omas the Mustang is a Good Friend
Omas the Mustang lends a helping hoof in this fun story created by a real elementary school class! The students at O. A. Peterson Elementary brainstormed with parent, Megan Beckwith, to come up with a story that both inspires friendship and entertains.
Omas the Mustang, the main character of this series, is a blend of the school's mascot, the mustang, and the school's namesake, Omas Anthony Peterson. We hope that our Omas will always accurately reflect the values of the great man after whom our school was named.
All the animals in this book were drawn by Mrs. Olson's talented students, too!
