Bob Marley
In 1982 raakten de Wailers al hun toekomstige rechten op royalties kwijt en zijn sindsdien gewikkeld in langdurige en kostbare procedures en rechtzaken.
Bob deelde altijd 50 procent van zijn royalities over plaatverkoop met de band vanwege het aandeel in de fantastische arrangementen.
Maar omdat men elkaar vertrouwde, werd dit nooit op papier gezet.
Daarna pleegde Rita valsheid in geschrift.
Al Anderson in 1988: 'Rita heeft al het geld ingepikt. Gewoon gestolen. Miljoenen dollars zijn er verdwenen'. Na een gerechtelijke uitspraak mogen de eerdergenoemde bandleden ook niet langer als The Wailers optreden. Die naam is het geregistreerde eigendom van de erven Marley, lees Rita. Although not a photobook on pocketsize, it has loads of pictures, all b/w and most grabs of what is known as the 'Pirelli Calendar for the Lady' by oilpainting artist M-Rat. Er staat ook een bijdrage van hem in... een zaligmakend blad."
