Decided to go for the first four chapters which is quite a lot of the book. I just got my first review . I started to advertise on some AFL websites so hopefully i'll get some more soon.
I will be starting More Than Football 2 next week. It won't be called that though. I'm trying to think of a name. It will be More Than Football: Then another title. I'm thinking through what will happen More Than Footy2. I've got lots of idea- just need to decide which to use.
Can't wait till I get my own copy of the book. Should be here in 1 or 2 weeks which is great as I chose the economy shipping option.
Posted on Wednesday 10 of November, 2004 [06:44:08 UTC] Today is Haloween and my birthday. It's not really celebrated in Australia but I wouldn't be suprised if there were one or two people trying to get candy tonight.
Anyway, my first book has been finished and is now for sale. It's very cheap as it's not very long(70 or so pages). I'm working on the preview tonight, i'll probably just add the first chapter or so. Look out for it.
The book is about a 13 year old kid who plays Australian Rules Football for his school. His whole life is based around it and he is absoloutley obsessed with it. I know that most people that will see this won't know anything about the sport which is a pity. I wouldn't recommend downloading it if you don't know the rules. I don't spend long explaining them. That's all i'll give away. There is more to it than football though, i'll tell you that.
I was never going to create a sequel to this but I'll be starting one soon. I'm still working out the details but it should be done by late January. I'm planning for it to be much longer as their will be no time limit to it as in this book. My aim would be 100 pages but I don't care if it's bigger or smaller. Quality over quantity.
As for my writing after More Than Football well I think that i'll be making more sports books. I might even make a book on the history of the game(Austrlian Rules Footbal)
