Born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, graduate of the original East High School...that's right, I am a Lady Bear! I started my writing career in the computer room at East, along with my best friend. My first book, Change of Heart is a direct reflection of what can happen when you spend most of your time trying to figure out a why to get out of the hood in a positive manner. After my best friend and cousin was murdered in 1997 I moved to Atlanta and started college at Georgia State University. Now, after all these years, I'm finally pursuing my dream.
