Store Description
I started this project about 4 years ago as a challange with NaNoWriMo.org. It was a challange to write 50,000 in one month. After completing the required amount of words,I put it in a drawer and forgot about it. Finally, I pulled it out, dusted it off and sat down. After much adding, editing, hiring a real editor, hair pulling and hammering away at the keyboard, I finished what I hope is a good book.
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it!

Recent Blog Posts   Moving right along......... I am still doing pretty well. I have decided to re-schedule the book signing for the spring/summer. Maybe it isn't really many, but to me it is wonderful.Now the hard part. Getting it out there! I am going to be working non-stop with the marketing. Posted on Thursday 17 of August, 2006 [00:19:25 UTC] Woe is me - I should have stayed in bed.As of yesterday, I had published, made available, and approved my book for Global Distrubution. I should have given it a few more days.I can't believe I made this error. When I first decided to write this book, I had two titles in mind. The only difference in the title was one word. The word "Buy." I wasn't sure if I wanted the word "Buy" or "Get" so I just figured I would leave that decision until later. I finally decided on "Buy" and thought I had changed all the words in the manuscript. Somehow, I hadn't. Whether it was because I sent the wrong copy for formatting, or because I hadn't saved the changes, who knows? The cover and title is now "Buy a Dog" and the title page says, "Get a Dog." Also, the header on every page says "get." I cannot believe after checking it out 3 times and having my husband, daughter, and brother looking at it that none of us picked up on it sooner.  So for now, I have to take it off available status and correct it. I hope this won't take too long. I have a few people waiting to purchase and I hate it being put on hold.I'll get back to you when it's ready again. If all goes well, it will be ready for sale within the next week. My fingers are crossed. This has been a long journey. I just hope after all the work, I can get this out to the proper media and get it on the stands. Time will tell.
